What sounds a little like
a glee, is just the name of the new exhibition of Mario Testino. When
you pass the doors of the Kunstbibliothek in Berlin, you have a look
in the eyes of Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer, Lady Gaga and Kate Moss…
again (Kate Moss and Mario Testino are close friends, what is just a
great benefit for the photographer). When you continuing walking
through the dark rooms with the silent atmosphere, you will recognize
the incredible talent of Mario Testino. He has the eye for
contradictions. On one picture you can see a minimalist nude art but
the next shows you an opulent creation for Vogue, Elle and all the
other fashion magazines which he delighted with his skills.
Mario
himself wants to show all the different facets a human being could
have and the special order of the pictures allow to have this one
moment of “IN YOUR FACE”, when you realize what the exhibition is
about while you are standing in front of the strong looking Jennifer
Lopez.
Some short videos will
explain the work of Mario Testino during ambling along the pictures.

The exhibition will
be in the Kunstbibliothek of the Staatliches Museum Berlin until
